High Desert ELITE kick starts its bid for the 2021 National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) and United Premier Soccer League (UPSL) seasons, hosting tryouts 12 p.m. (noon) to 2 p.m., Saturday and Sunday, February 20 and 21, 2021, at IE Legends Soccer Complex, 3496 West Little League Drive, San Bernardino, CA 92407. The soccer facility is off Interstate 215 south of Interstate 15 in San Bernardino.

REGISTRATION FEE

  • EARLY DISCOUNT: $10 discount ends Wednesday, February 17 at 12:59 p.m. 
  • FEE INCREASE: Registration fee is subject to increase from regular price to $50 after Friday, February 19 at 12:59 p.m. Register NOW!

WHAT TO BRING

Bring your best game and a great attitude. Players should wear black shirt, black socks, and black shorts. Players should also have shin guards, cleats and other position-related gear.

TRYOUT SCHEDULE

Both days are mandatory.

SEASON SCHEDULE

The official 2021 NPSL season is scheduled tentatively May through early July with pre-season games beginning immediately following tryouts. The potential for post-season games may extend into early August. The 2021 UPSL season is tentatively scheduled March 27 weekend through late June.

TRAINING SCHEDULE

Weekly team training sessions will generally consist of a two-day schedule, Tuesday and Thursday evenings.

YOUTH & COLLEGE PLAYERS

College and high school athletes are encouraged to tryout; players under 18 require parent present for check in; Player participation with High Desert ELITE will not conflict with high school CIF or college NCAA or NAIA regulations. The men’s professional development program is limited to players birth year 2006 years and older.

ALL GAMES RECORDED 

All games are recorded. This enables players and coaches to evaluate and improve performance as well as understanding of the game. This also enables players to build their player highlights for scouting and recruiting purposes. This strategy has successfully assisted High Desert Elite players secure professional team contracts and college scholarships.
