Adversity. Grit. Creativity. Passion. Intensity. Love for one another. And love for the game that binds us and our High Desert community together.

We amass from Adelanto, Apple Valley, Barstow, Hesperia, Victorville, Phelan, and expanses that stretch beyond the Victor Valley. We emerge from the spirited grit of the Mexican adult leagues such as Papa’s League, from youth clubs such as Apple Valley Storm, High Desert FC (HDFC), Desert Communities Soccer Club (DCSC), and from lands far beyond the waters of our elusive Mojave River.

Our community has players being tapped for NCAA Division I soccer programs and prodigies such as local standout Aaron Long, who has secured a place on the U.S. Men’s National Team. The High Desert has young standouts such as Kolo Suliafu from Oak Hills High School, who actively vie for roles upon the U.S. Women’s National Teams.

We can be rough around the edges. We are tough. Resilient. Resourceful, making it work through hard work, dedication, and creativity. We respect the game, our community, our opponents, and the opportunities that those who have gone before us have helped foster. We value humility in our victories and grace in our shortcomings. We quest for humility, as it is our catalyst for continual improvement. We believe in the love that brings us together, as through that love, we are #StrongerTogether.
